Mastering the art of small-mixer design was what kept Mackie Designs growing throughout the 1990s, when the company produced a series of innovative mixers that set the standard for versatility and quality. Times change, though, and now that many of Mackie’s ideas have been copied by other manufacturers, the company has been obliged to shift some of its production to China to remain competitive.
