Event monitors have been around for a decade or so, but outside its native America, the company has a relatively low profile. All this is set to change, though, because Event was recently snapped up by Røde, the Australian microphone manufacturer, and distribution of Event products in the UK is now in the hands of Røde’s distributor HHB.
