Inta Audio AMD 64 Workstation
64-bit is the way of the future... Hollin Jones looks forward to the AMD 64 Audio PC Workstation.
Price: £799.00

The fact that it’s now so easy to get started in music technology is
due mainly to the increasing power and falling price of computers. The
pace of change is such that computers that were regarded as
cutting-edge technology only five or six years ago, are now hopelessly
outclassed by even standard, sub-£500 PCs today. But it’s important to
remember that as specs and megahertz values climb, so do our
expectations of what we should be able to achieve with our latest
hardware purchases. Even though you can buy a general-purpose PC and
run Cubase or Reason on it, you’ll almost certainly find that the
pre-installed hardware can’t really cut it when it comes to taking on
demanding audio tasks.
