Audio Damage has released some of the most unusual and exciting plug-ins in our arsenal. What other developer would entertain the idea of a plug-in using Conway’s Game Of Life as the sequencer? The resulting plug-ins aren’t always the easiest to use – Automaton’s artificial life sequencer being perhaps the most extreme example – but for anyone who is OK with the post-modern aphorism that the process is more important than the product, these plug-ins are a source of endless creativity.
