TerraTec AXON AX-50 USB

Guitarists are enjoying ever more choice when it comes to MIDI control. Hollin Jones finds out what the AX-50 has to offer...

Price: £319.00
Manufacturer: TerraTec
Website: http://www.scvlondononline.co.uk

The word MIDI immediately conjures up images of synths and performance keyboards, but over the years, players of other instruments have started to find ways of breaking into the world of MIDI. After keyboards, drums are the most obvious candidate because of the relatively simple nature of translating an impact on an appropriate surface into a MIDI command. Somewhat further down the list you find stringed instruments such as guitars, basses and violins.

Score: 9
