Although not everyone is totally enamoured with the growing number of amp modelling units on the market today, most people do agree on one thing – the range of products from Line 6 are among the best you can buy. OK, so you can’t beat the real thing when it comes to recording guitars or bass, but, as is often the case, practicalities sometimes come before creativity. Studio size, volume levels and the simple fact that not all of us can readily lay our hands on a bunch of classic amps and mics are all considerations that have to be taken into account when recording.
