If the re-emergence of synth-pop and asymmetrical hairstyles wasn’t enough to convince you that 80s fashions are back, Tascam’s latest portable recorder will add weight to the argument. The BB-1000CD is a portable recorder built-in to a retro ‘boombox’ chassis, complete with stereo speakers. Of course, just like the synth-pop that seems to be driving this re-emergence of 80s fashion, the BB- 1000CD isn’t simply emulating vintage design, but bringing it.
