FXpansion BFD2

Rebuilt from the ground up, FXpansion claims that BFD2 is the most powerful drum workstation ever – but does it live up to the hype? Keith Gemmell gets behind the kit...

Price: £235.00
Manufacturer: FXpansion
Website: http://www.getbfd2now.co.uk

BFD has been many producers’ drum software of choice for some time now – if you wanted acoustic drums and lots of them, BFD delivered the goods. But since its inception, rival software has appeared, and some products – Addictive Drums, for example – have raised the bar considerably, particularly as far as ease of use is concerned.

Score: 9
