Violet was recently embroiled in legal tussles with fellow manufacturer Blue. Now that the storm has died down, Blue soldiers on in sunny California – albeit with something of a shift in emphasis to the consumer market – while Violet ploughs on in snowy Estonia. Violet has a new set of designs rooted firmly in the recording market, of which these are just two.
