Soundcraft is well known for its professional mixing desks and consoles. Although many of its products are aimed at high-end audio production and broadcast applications, the Compact series is intended for an altogether different market. Applying its years of experience of making huge desks that fill control rooms to a much smaller package, Soundcraft has come up with a small, but well-specified mixer in the shape of the Compact 4, offering features that will be of interest to those running home studios or engineering live sound at smaller events.
