Yamaha CP1

Could Yamaha’s new top-of-the-range CP1 be the stage piano to beat all stage pianos – and hence live up to its hefty price tag? Mike Willox finds out.

Price: £4.00
Manufacturer: Yamaha
Website: http://www.yamaha.co.uk

There seems to be a plethora of companies competing for their share of the already well-served upper-midrange stage piano market traditionally serviced by rivals Roland and Yamaha. Korg, Nord, Kawai and Kurzweil have all released quality stage pianos recently to generally positive reaction from press and punters alike.

Score: 9
