Cubase is arguably the most widely used of all sequencers. From its earliest days on the Atari as a MIDI-only package, through the addition of audio capabilities at the turn of the 1990s and the revolutionary development of the VST instrument format later that decade, Steinberg’s creation has built up a huge following and a dedicated user base.
