The steady increase in track-count that’s accompanied the rapid development of all-in-one digital hardware studios has been a real bonus for the project studio owner. However, even fairly Spartan productions can still eat up recording tracks at an alarming rate, requiring careful bouncing of takes to free up resources. In the digital domain, this process is admittedly easier than the days of magnetic tape, with workstations offering dedicated functionality to get the job done quickly.
