Ask any DJ today – whether it be a world-class professional playing to thousands every week or someone who plays at their local bar – and they will tell you that over the last couple of years there has been a move towards mixing music digitally. This is true whether you’re talking about using a CDJ to mix CDs or using specially designed software to mix MP3s, and this recent shift in technology has enabled DJs to push back musical boundaries with their performances. DJs can now remix and edit songs on the fly, giving their audience a whole new experience.
