Tascam DP-02
Hardware DAWs don’t have to be all about endless menus, sub-systems and fiddly navigation. Mike Hillier checks out the simple life with Tascam’s new DP-02.
Price: £379.00
Manufacturer: Tascam
Website: http://www.tascam.com

Tascam’s Portastudio range has been at the forefront of the project studio line-up since it was first unveiled back in 1979 and has been a desirable studio tool ever since, with albums by John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (Niandra Lades and Usually Just A T-Shirt and Smile From The Streets You Hold) and Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska being recorded with the devices. The line-up has evolved over the years and continues to do so now with the release of the latest model, the DP-02.
Score: 8
