American effects giant DigiTech has hit on a stellar concept with its Artist Series. The idea took shape in the company’s rack and floor multi-effects units, with massive preset-storing ability meaning that guitarists could take advantage of artist-programmed sounds, along with the usual complement of factory and user patches.
