Behringer Eurodesk SX3242FX
Behringer has made big steps in the live market, so is the new Eurodesk one giant leap? Mike Hillier rides the faders.
Price: £413.00
Manufacturer: Behringer
Website: http://www.behringer.co.uk

Behringer’s live mixers can be found in small-to-medium-size live venues everywhere, commonly accompanied by some of the company’s rackmount hardware compressors and EQs. However, despite their presence in so many venues, the company’s mixers don’t enjoy a particularly great reputation among engineers. Sound quality is often touted as the primary reason for this negative reputation, but, in our experience, the mixers hold their own against similarly priced models from other manufacturers. The sound quality may not be anything special, but few desks in this price range offer top quality, with the focus on reliability being seen as more important.
