When we looked at the last incarnation of this formidable little sequencing package back in Issue 37, the good people at Image-Line had given it a new interface, bolted on the DirectWave multi-velocity sampler and introduced the EQUO morphing equalizer. Other effects spanning the realms of delay, reverb, compression and distortion were also added, and any doubts as to whether or not the software was up to the task of serious music production were laid to rest.
Score: 8

This article was very helpful. Since I'm new to all this computer music making hobby. I was wondering why this wasn't compared to the Ableton Live 7 program instead of the Reason 3.0 or the Orion Platinum.
I still found this very helpful as I'm looking to purchase very soon (within 1 day) either this program or the Ableton Live 7.
