Apogee Gio
Apogee has teamed up with Apple to deliver a guitar interface for Logic and GarageBand. Mike Hillier stomps down.
Price: £349.00
Manufacturer: Apogee
Website: http://www.apogeedigital.com

Apogee hardware used to be the preserve of big-budget studios. The company specialised in quality A/D and D/A convertors and digital clocks, such as the Rosetta Series. With the release of the Apogee Ensemble, the company began working with Apple on interfaces developed specifically to work with Logic Pro, and while the Ensemble is still a high-end interface, it was later joined by the Duet and the ONE - interfaces that brought the company’s high-quality A/D and D/A to a broader audience.
