Despite most musicians choosing to work on computers, there still seems to be an active role for small mixers in many project studios. Whether it’s a case of combining your computer’s output with a few remaining hardware synths, recording guitars or using a mixer’s mic preamps, it’s still useful to have some form of analogue mixing facility to hand.
