Korg iMS-20
After Korg’s successful Electribe emulation, Liam O’Mullane checks out this MS-20-based app.
Price: £9.49
Manufacturer: Korg

Korg kick-started the iPad revolution when it released iElectribe while the iPad was still a new and unconvincing piece of kit to many music-makers. It had its limitations, but it demonstrated what the iPad could offer – and this app has much more emulation crammed in. Based around an MS-20 synthesizer, six-part drum machine, analogue sequencer, mixer and song/pattern composer, this app could potentially be all you need to create the many elements required for a full track.
Score: 8
