The SE Electronics Reflexion Filter has become one of the most popular pieces of nonessential recording equipment, as it offers a portable solution to assist with the problems of achieving a dry and intimate vocal sound. Riding on the back of this success, SE has released the Instrument Reflexion Filter (IRF), which is designed to be used for the recording of single instruments or when using multiple microphones in close proximity (on a grand piano or drum kit, for example).
