The ISA828’s blue, grey and yellow colour scheme has a distinctly 80s vibe, but that’s because the heritage of Focusrite’s ISA preamps stretches back to 1985, when the first products bearing the Focusrite name emerged. And although he hasn’t been involved with Focusrite products since 1989, it was Rupert Neve who designed the original ISA110 preamp/EQ.
