Korg’s KAOSS Pad has found favour with some of the biggest names in contemporary music thanks to its unique approach to sound manipulation. Watch footage of any major festival and you’ll spot at least a few big-name bands with KAOSS Pads plumbed into their rigs. Its development has been swift, and the latest version – the KP3 – is now with us, sporting some major upgrades. Having had fun with these boxes of tricks before, we were keen to see what the newest KAOSS Pad had to offer.

Well explained and with enough detail I know pretty much what the KP3's all about...now it's off to ebay to check out prices :)

Not any mention of the KP3 MIDI abilities in the article. This should have been covered.

I own the KP3 and its more than fun..its serious business, anyone knows if I could save a set of samples as a performance set, rather than load and begin
another minus point is the samples have only dedicated numbers 00 to 99, so I have to write down the application of the sample to the corresponding number..boring
but overall the KP3 rox and is value for money
this is not just an efx unit..its a kind of remixer for djs
