While pulling these weighty KRK V6s out of the box it became apparent that the designers had done their best to create solid, non-resonant cabinets. They are made from MDF and are internally braced, while the edges are rounded to minimise diffraction. The slotted front port is rounded, too – KRK claims that this shape minimises distortion caused by the turbulence commonly encountered with circular ports.
