Shure KSM42 & KSM44A Microphone Review

Both of these new Shure mics have zinc die-cast bodies and three-layer mesh grilles made from hardened, low-carbon steel for effective pop filtering. They’re supplied in metal flightcases with velveteen mic pouches, clip mounts and Shure Lock rubber suspension shockmounts. The KSM42 also ships with a low-profile Popper Stopper magnetic pop filter and also features internal shockmounting.
