Logic, for the uninitiated, is Emagic’s Digital Audio Workstation software, providing audio and MIDI sequencing and recording capabilities, as well as synthesis, video support and extensive scoring and surround sound features. Unlike most other music software manufacturers, Emagic has concentrated on creating an integrated package with high-quality virtual instruments and effects built in. Where many companies focus on the sequencer or the instruments, Emagic has created an environment where both work seamlessly together.
