This 1.7GB sample collection from Ueberschall’s Nouvelle series comes wrapped in the company’s Elastik virtual instrument in multiple plug-in formats for Mac and PC (there’s also a standalone version). This system, as we have remarked before, brings both pros and cons: the instrument has some onboard controls for modifying the samples, which some will find useful, but on the other hand, you can’t access the raw samples, so you’re sort of tied to using it.
