Although digital mixers have been around for many years now, they still remain, for the most part, the preserve of the professional studio. Generally speaking, they’re simply far too expensive for the average home studio owner to justify buying. However, it looks as if Edirol has broken the mould with its new M-16DX, a 16-channel, all-digital mixer with a small footprint and a relatively low price tag.![]()
