ART’s M5 ribbon is made from two-micron corrugated aluminum mounted under low tension between the poles of a strong magnet. It’s claimed that ‘this classic design delivers the warmest and most natural sound reproduction available from virtually any style of studio microphone’. Well, there’s no doubt that a well-constructed ribbon microphone can do all those things.
