Wave Arts Master Restoration Suite

If noise, hum, crackle or buzz are troubling you, Wave Arts has the solution. Mark Cousins restores his faith...

Price: £299.00
Manufacturer: Wave Arts
Website: http://www.wavearts.com

Despite the relative aural hygiene of the digital studio, it’s still not uncommon to encounter the occasional recording that has some form of audio deficiency, whether it’s noise, vinyl crackle or mains hum. There are tried-and-tested techniques (noise gates, EQ and so on) that you can use to combat many of these problems, but when you need highly effective results with the minimum of fuss, many professional users will turn to dedicated audio restoration plug-ins or hardware such as Waves’ Restoration Bundle or Cedar’s Declickle.

Score: 9
