Korg microKontrol

Musicians can still control their instruments in the traditional fashion. Paul Wiffen investigates Korg’s microKontrol solution…

Price: £275.00
Manufacturer: Korg
Website: http://www.korg.co.uk

There was a time when it was easy to add expression to your keyboard solo or bass line. You simply reached out with a free hand and pushed a mod wheel, turned the filter cutoff, or tweaked the envelope’s attack setting. Similarly, when making and editing sounds, all the parameters you needed were laid out in front of you, usually in a logical representation of the signal path inside the instrument.

Score: 9
