Korg microSTATION
Korg’s latest addition to its ‘micro’ series is a powerful one-box solution for novice producers. Mike Willox investigates.

Korg’s micro series has been a tearaway success: the mini beasts have been seen everywhere, with the trademark gooseneck microphone sticking its proverbial out with aplomb. The latest addition to the range comes in the form of a workstation that has a 61-note mini keyboard rather than the standard 37-note range that’s previously been available. The workstation market is pretty crowded these days, so manufacturers need to provide serious workflow options and a decent sound set to compete.
