No one who’s spent any time in studios over the last couple of decades can have failed to spot Focusrite outboard hardware in many of them, resplendent in red or green brushed metal. These days, as well as more subtle silver outboard units, the company has moved into developing software versions of some of its processors. Its latest offering is the Midnight plug-in suite.
