AKAI is arguably the biggest name in sampling, having developed some truly ground-breaking products over the last couple of decades. The company’s S-series of samplers made sampling an affordable and accessible tool to musicians at all levels. In many pro studios you can often spot the classic white cases and red logos of AKAI samplers, many of which will still be in use.
