MXL V67 series Microphone Review
MXL’s mics enjoy a good reputation in the US but they’ve never been easy to find here – until now. Huw Price checks them out.
Price: £115.00
Manufacturer: MXL
Website: http://www.mxlmics.com

All three of these mics are visually striking, with their green bodies and gold-plated grilles. Inside things are equally impressive, because all of the wiring is audiophile approved Mogami cable and all three have transformer-balanced outputs. The bodies feel pretty lightweight, so it’s safe to conclude that they’re probably aluminium rather than brass.
Score: 9
