The n12 marks the culmination of Yamaha’s development work with Steinberg since the German company was acquired by Yamaha in 2004. Since then we’ve seen hints at what was coming, with Cubase AI4 and the Studio Connections technology bundled with hardware such as the Motif XS8 and even Yamaha’s MG series of USB mixers.

The Yamaha N12 can now talk to MR816CSX from Steinberg - just make sure you have the latest firmware updates from both. They will make a great combo for home studios!
