If all you do in your studio is put together beat-based electronica fare or sketch out simple demos with a guitar, keyboard and some readymade rhythms, the need for scoring your material is remote at best. But if you do fancy adding some expressive string ideas to your latest creation without first having to find someone with the necessary musical know-how, then VirtuosoWorks’ Notion becomes worthy of investigation.
