There are plenty of medium-sized active monitors on the market, but none of them looks quite like the Fostex NX-6A. That’s because this monitor features a unique woofer design that Fostex refers to as Hyper Radial Diaphragm. Manufacturing these woofers requires the latest ‘radial papermaking technology’ – which sounds like postgraduate origami to us – whereby the compound materials are formed into a radial shape designed for optimum thickness and strength.
