Lexicon Omega
The name Lexicon is synonymous with high-quality reverb, but the company produces a varied range of devices. Bob Dormon checks out the latest of them...
Price: £329.00
Manufacturer: Lexicon

Despite its reputation for producing state-of-the-art reverberation systems, Lexicon is no stranger to hard disk recording. The PCI-based Studio Series met with considerable acclaim when it first appeared, though even Lexicon would have to concede it has now had its day. Enter the Omega, a USB 1.1-compatible audio and MIDI interface bundled with BIAS’ Deck (Mac) and Twelve Tone Systems’ Pro Tracks Plus (PC) recording software. Also included is Pantheon – a Lexicon reverb plug-in, just to remind us of the company’s fine heritage in this area.
Score: 8
