Safe Sound Audio is a small UK-based manufacturer that has developed a range of unique compression and gain-control devices, including the P1 audio processor and the Dynamics Toolbox. The company’s latest product – the P501 audio processor – has been designed to fit directly into API’s 500 Series Lunchbox system, enabling Safe Sound’s unique ‘Peakriding’ compression to integrate with a number of other modular signal processors. But what are the advantages offered by Peakride compression, especially in relation to other 500 Series compressors?
