FMR Audio is a small American company founded in 1997 to produce and distribute the aptly titled Really Nice Compressor – RNC for short. The unit’s ‘Really Nice’ moniker arguably referred to its transparent, silky smooth compression, although for many, another likeable quality was the price of the RNC – just £175 for a two-channel compressor!
