Orchestral samples libraries are typically very expensive and require powerful computers to run them. It’s refreshing, then, to review a library that runs on a modest machine and contains barely 2GB of content. Available as an internet download, the Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 has a new ARIA engine and player, more sounds and new features, including integrated reverb, stereo stage emulation and auto legato. You also get MIDI playback and audio rendering facilities in the standalone version.
