Use Audio Plugiator

Synths that work as well on stage as in the studio are gaining in popularity. Hollin Jones checks out Use Audio’s Plugiator.

Price: £379.00
Manufacturer: Use Audio
Website: http://www.use-audio.com

An increasing number of synths are offering integration between computers and DSP hardware, usually to facilitate both hands-on hardware tweaking and more detailed sound editing when on stage and in the studio respectively. Plugiator, from Use Audio, is one such instrument, utilising a USB connection to communicate with a Mac or PC and able to accommodate up to eight separate synth modules, each powered by a DSP processor.

Score: 7
