TC Electronic’s PowerCore series is one of the most well-supported outboard DSP options on the market. The latest model – the PowerCore X8 – is the successor to the popular PowerCore FireWire, doubling the onboard CPU and S-RAM to a total of eight Motorola DSP chips and eight RAM chips respectively, enabling you to run more instances of each plug-in.
