E-mu has a long and distinguished history in electronic percussion (the Drumulator was one of the first affordable sampling machines and the SP12 and SP1200 remain hip hop legends), but the company’s latest percussive product doesn’t stem from its drum machine line at all. Rather, the PX-7 is the latest in E-mu’s Command Station range, slotting in alongside the existing XL-7 and MP-7 models.
