At approximately the size of two iPod Videos stacked on top of each other, the new Edirol R-09 manages to squeeze a considerable number of features into such a small unit. Equipped with a built-in stereo condenser microphone, auto-gain control, low-cut filter and digital reverb, the R-09 has many of the features found on the larger R-1 portable recorder.
