Cakewalk Rapture

Cakewalk’s latest virtual synth promises cutting-edge electronic sounds, but can it deliver on that promise? Hollin Jones feels the Rapture…

Price: £149.00
Manufacturer: Cakewalk
Website: http://www.cakewalk.com

Things must be pretty busy over at Cakewalk HQ. Hot on the heels of Dimension Pro comes another dual-platform, multi-format virtual instrument, this time designed with electronic musicians in mind. Rapture, the second of Cakewalk’s dedicated instruments, is an advanced wavetable synthesizer comprising six sound-generating Elements, DSP effects and step generators to add rhythmic elements to your sounds.
