Propellerhead Reason 4

Propellerhead’s flagship sequencer has had a major upgrade, but will the latest version give you Reason to be cheerful? Hollin Jones finds out...

Price: £299.00
Manufacturer: Propellerhead
Website: http://www.propellerhead.se

The announcement of a new version of Reason is always something of a momentous occasion in the music technology world. Not just because it is so widely used and well liked, but also because Propellerhead tends to take longer than many other developers between issuing major new releases. As a result, when new versions do appear they are very stable and – more often than not – power-efficient.

Score: 10
