Electric basses are not particularly well represented in the software world – at least, not realistic-sounding ones. This latest collection from the Props comes in 16- and 24-bit formats and requires Reason 4.0.1. It’s worth mentioning the packaging and supporting printed documentation, which is both informative and beautifully produced. Not that it informs the sound, but it does reflect the overall level of care taken in producing this ReFill. The 24-bit version occupies just under 3.5GB of space due to the vast number of samples contained within.
